Cannot be explained in words

Yes, we are all out of the woods. We were in from Friday morning through Sunday night.

It is all a good story, however, the last entry I made got deleted by a wrong key-stroke, so I shall try again tomorrow. As it is, we had a great time and decided it was not an adventure...rather an epic.

Coming out late at night with headlamps, air patrol looking for the truck, satellite phones, etc all add up to an interesting story. I shall make a map soon of ascents and descents...but to fill you all in:

Friday

991 feet ascent, 449 feet descent

Saturday

1032 feet ascent, 1293 feet descent

Sunday

2723 feet ascent, 3004 feet descent

Friday was approximately 3 miles, Saturday was approximately 3 miles, and Sunday was about 9 miles. Sunday was a hike from hell, things most people won't ever do in their lifetime, but these girls I was with did it and ended up with a smile on their faces when arriving at the truck at 2230 at night! We became a team, we became a family...
