Plan

I am headed to the Selway Crags. Meeting up with some friends from South Dakota in Lowell tomorrow at some point, camping along the Selway or Clearwater...then moving up to the trailhead on Friday morning.

Going to Big Fog mountain and lake...then after that, it'll be a lot of above-treeline ridgerunning from there. The general plan is to be at Legend or Big Fog lake the first night. Then, I'm thinking we might take the ridge over to Three Links Lakes, up Jesse Pass...and PERHAPS a little jaunt to the east / northeast to camp at ____ lake. (Can't remember the lake right now, but it has an island.) Not sure how steep the face is, so perhaps not. From there, I'm sure we'll take the trail to Cove Lakes and back out on Sunday.

I should arrive home on Sunday.

Like always, I am sure I'm overpacked, so I should be good for the winter..but just in case something goes to hell, I like to keep the bases covered.

Hoping to take a lot of photos and have some good adventures. I shall share later...
