Well, long story short...been uber-busy lately....I guess that's what happens when I'm responsible for most of the spatial work on over 2 million acres of land. But, a couple weekends ago we were able to make it out on the ice up at Spirit Lake...and then getting skunked there...we moved down to lower Twin Lakes and ended the day with a LOT of small perch. Obviously, it was a pretty good day.
Other than that, I work.

On the way to Rod's house. Couldn't pass it up. |

Spirit Lake was constantly talking to us. Here's one of the many reasons |

We found an "island" so to speak. (The other folks were pretty spooked by the cracks.) |

Rod finally set up. |

So when I say, "Okay, everyone make a funny face" it's supposed to mean we ALL do it. |
On a separate note, there was a pit bull rescue that found it's way to our house (through some roundabout means and the clinic.) We called this little guy "The Dude" like in the Big Lebowski...but he was rapidly becoming "buddy" to me. Great, nice little dog...but obviously had been beaten. Boy, if you said "no" in front of him he'd go hide. He definitely didn't trust men. It was a hard choice for both of us, but we ended up not keeping him. Luckily, he's found a new home with Sarah's friend / coworker who found him.

Not sure about cameras...or maybe just me. |

He was a serious little shit. But he woulda been a great guy to pal around with. |

Nice pics!
Getting a bit bushy there. Hardly recognized you. So was that frost in your beard from the cold winter day or are we just getting that old?

Now see, I was anticipating Cruiser to be the first one to mention the out-of-control facial hair. It's under control now. And no, that isn't frost. :(
I was going to ask who the guy in the orange was. Looking very distinguished Thomas. I approve.
Sweet pup - too bad he couldn't join the family but glad he found a good place to live. We should catch up sometime. I miss you guys.
Love!
